1. Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in Nevada, moved to California for grad school and never left. My career has been focused on helping build and grow start-up companies in the Bay Area; there is not another area that has the same culture, talent, and energy.
2. What is one thing about you that might surprise people?
I’m an avid tennis player, with a USTA 3.5 rating.
3. What is your role at Relola?
I am the VP of Engineering; I’m responsible for taking all of the great ideas and turning them into a product agents and consumers can use.
4. What do you see as the biggest problem in Real Estate today?
Current websites do a poor job of letting users learn more about properties; often all that is available is a short list of photos that don’t really let a consumer get a good understanding of the property. On top of this, there is no way good for a user to ask for more information.
5. How is Relola solving this problem?
Relola’s system allows agents and buyers to interact together; it is possible for buyers to get a much deeper understanding of properties, and their neighborhoods, and to find the right realtor that can help them in their housing search.
